Keep work and personal devices separate. If you use a personal phone or laptop for work tasks, avoid logging into employer-approved AI tools that might inadvertently sync personal data. Conversely, if your employer issues a device, assume that any AI tool you use on it could be monitored.

Watch for warning signs.
